I hope you got a chance to enjoy the beautiful weather yesterday!
In one week, Flatirons kicks off the 2020 Season at our All Club Night! This is for players to meet their coaches and teammates, get to know each other, play a couple fun games, select scorekeepers and talk about the upcoming season. They’ll meet in the Dawson gym Sunday evening (Nov. 10) from 6:00-7:30pm.
We’re taking care of last minute preparations, ensuring everyone is registered, wrapping up uniform orders and even hiring coaches to replace those who had to decline at the last minute.
The website, especially the website calendar, are almost ready to go. We hope to get rosters posted this week.
Practices begin Monday, Nov. 11th. We start off with Master Practices which emphasize proper fundamentals. Week two are team practices with more fundamentals. Then back to Master Practices after Thanksgiving.
Spirit Gear should be arriving soon if it hasn’t already. We’ll open the store again in a week or so.
King Soopers Community Rewards participants: please go to the KS site and screenshot your third quarter report. Send it to flatironsvbc@gmail.com along with your athlete’s name and team.
There are several CU matches remaining. Many of the away games can be viewed on TV on the Pac-12 channel.
